Looks like I'm only good for an occasional update lately. My bad. I'm just enjoying the summer too much. What can I say? ;)
My replacements are trained. I'm working from home some, but mostly hanging out with my girls. We've been to the Sprinklers, swimming pools, movie; had some cookouts; and lots of play dates with the neighbors. I've thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them! I'm afraid this summer is going to pass entirely too quickly.
I have to brag on my husband for a bit. He just got back from California talking with his favorite company about his dream job. He was told today that they would be sending him an offer this week. He is so excited. I'm incredibly proud of him. Not only is he getting his dream job, but he was also offered a promotion at his current job. God is so good!
Speaking of God being so good... I paid off a credit card today! We have been diligently working towards being debt free. We're about 2 1/2 years into the plan and it feels so good to see that light at the end of the tunnel!
We'll be traveling to TN this weekend for a quick trip for a friend's wedding. I actually haven't seen him in at least 8 years. Very excited to see him get married. There will also be many other friends there that I haven't seen in a really long time. Should be a fun reunion. Of course, I always get super self conscience because of this dog gone weight. :( It is a never ending battle. Gonna have a good time nonetheless.
Audrey's baptism is this Sunday. I can't wait! She is ready and excited. We have a lot of family coming in for the occasion. We're going to go ahead and celebrate her birthday, too, since she'll be recovering from her surgery on her actual birthday.
I'm going to be traveling the following weekend back to AL with the group to sing at another church. As always, I'm looking forward to seeing how God will work through the music! We're debuting a new song next weekend (at Audrey's baptism) that is beautiful.
I want to share a few of my favorite pictures we had made for Derek for Father's Day last week. He got them a little early because:
1. I'm incredibly impatient when keeping a secret about a gift.
2. He saw the charge on the bank account.
LOL! I thought it would be fun to have the girls dress up in Daddy's clothes. ;) Enjoy...

Congrats to D on his new job! That is great. Glad to hear you guys are doing good. I know what you mean about the weight thing. I used to dread going to reunions and weddings. I skipped my high school 10 year reunion but I will be at my 20 year! Good luck to you...wish we could see you while you are here.
